Licensing & Copyright Policy
Open Access and License
All articles published in JEES are Open Access under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0) International License (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/). This license permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original authors and source are properly credited with accurate citation details.
Copyright Policy (Non-Exclusive Publishing Agreement)
JEES follows a non-exclusive publishing agreement: the journal retains the right of first publication, while authors retain full copyright. Authors may subsequently republish or otherwise reuse their work without restriction, with an acknowledgement that the work was first published in JEES. Users may use, reproduce, disseminate, or display the articles—including for commercial purposes—so long as proper attribution to the authors and JEES is given.
Third-Party Content and Trademarks
The mention of trade names, trademarks, or general descriptive names does not imply the absence of legal protection. For third-party materials included in a manuscript, authors must ensure permissions are compatible with CC BY 4.0 or provide clear notices of any restrictions; journal layout elements, logos, and marks are excluded from the CC license.
Author Responsibility
Authors are encouraged to be familiar with the CC BY 4.0 framework, including attribution practices, reuse conditions, and boundaries for third-party content. Authors are responsible for the legal and ethical compliance of all materials and must supply permission documentation when required.
