Open Access Policy
The Journal of Educational Evaluation & Standards (JEES) provides immediate, free access to all published content, removing paywalls and registration barriers in support of global knowledge exchange in educational evaluation, measurement, and standards. Articles are published under a CC BY 4.0 license. Authors retain copyright to their work while granting broad permissions for others to copy, use, distribute, transmit, publicly display, and create derivative works in any responsible digital medium, provided that proper attribution and citation of the original work are maintained. JEES endorses the principles articulated in the Bethesda Statement on Open Access Publishing, including immediate deposition of articles upon initial publication in at least one online repository to ensure long-term availability and discoverability. As an open access journal grounded in rigorous peer review and careful editorial assessment, JEES serves scholars, students, institutions, standards and accreditation bodies, and quality assurance agencies worldwide by enabling barrier-free dissemination and reuse of refereed research. Works published in JEES may be reused and redistributed without restriction under CC BY 4.0 so long as the original source is correctly credited. By fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and open sharing, JEES advances rigorous, ethical, and culturally informed scholarship that supports educational equity, learning quality, and the continual improvement of standards and governance.
